Nylon Coil Zippers
A Nylon Coiled zipper has teeth that are constructed from a continuous coiled nylon monofilament. The coil is then sewn to a zipper tape to create the finished zipper.
Benefits of these zippers including low cost and ease of repair. Misaligned teeth are largely fixed by simply zipping and unzipping the slider past the point misalignment. Nylon Coil zippers are highly flexible and allow easier sewing around curves and tight spaces. Nylon Coil zippers are also extremely popular because they are lightweight, heat resistant and rustproof.
Moreover, Nylon Coiled zippers offer two-way functionality—the sliders can be affixed in either direction of the zipper chain and still perform smoothly.
Common uses: fashion wear, canvas goods, sports/outdoor and travel luggage baggage, camping equipment.
